What do you enjoy most about your current job?
I love the variety involved in training, no two days are ever the same. I love helping people to develop their skills and achieve their potential. I also enjoy being part of a friendly close knit team who actively support each other.

Why should someone work for Home Retail Group?
In my view it is a fair company to work for who offer good perks. I like that I don’t have to travel far to work and the holidays are really good. I enjoy working for a company who are constantly moving with the times and trying to change the way they do things for the better by listening to their workforce.

How have you developed since being with Home Retail Group?
I have had lots of opportunity to develop, particularly since I joined the Training Team after working as a Customer Service Advisor for a year. I have learned to react to change to meet the demands of my role; I have also become a lot more adept at multi-tasking. I’m also a better listener and I have a good understanding of what motivates people to learn. The company has also supported me in achieving my Certificate in Training Practice.
